PAU: Pre-cooled air conditioning unit
Primary Air Unit pretreatment of outdoor fresh air to fan coil unit (FCU) for a clean room area.
MAU: Make-up air unit
It is an air conditioning device that provides fresh air. Function according to the requirements of the environment can achieve constant temperature and humidity or simply provide fresh air. The working principle is to extract fresh air outside through dust removal, dehumidification (or humidification), cooling (or heating) and other treatment through the fan to the indoor, when entering the indoor space to replace the original indoor air. Of course, the functions mentioned above must be determined according to the needs of the use environment, the more complete the function, the higher the cost for a clean room area.
AHU: Air handling unit
Combined air conditioning box: mainly extract indoor air (return air) and some fresh air to control air temperature and air volume and maintain indoor temperature.
RCU: Recycled air handling unit
DCC: Dry cooling coil
It’s used to eliminate the heat in the clean room area.
FCU: Fan Control Unit
The fan coil unit is the device of air conditioning system. Its working principle is to recycle the air in the room continuously in the unit, so that the air is cooled (heated) after passing through the cold water (hot water) coil unit to keep the room temperature constant. The air is heated when it passes through the surface of the heater, which strengthens the convection heat exchanger between the radiator and the air, and can quickly heat the air in the clean room.
FFU: Fan Filter Units
That is the fan and filter (high efficiency filter (HEPA) or ultra-high efficiency filter (ULPA)) together to form their own power supply terminal purification equipment. To be exact, it is a modular terminal air supply device with self-powered and filter effect. The fan inhales the air from the top of the FFU and filters it through the HEPA. The filtered clean air is evenly sent out at 0.45 m/s±20% wind speed throughout the air outlet.
